A one-year training program for high school graduates who show promise in the performing arts and desire to serve God.

Apprentices will study acting, voice and dance under industry professionals, while taking an active part in the daily workings of a vibrant theatre ministry.

The focus of this one year program, which consists of three, three month terms between the end of September and the end of August, is serving God through excellence in the dramatic arts.

What is the Cost?

- Tuition and fees for the entire year will be approximately $5,000

Is this program accredited?

-No, this is a hands on training program for people who are ready to learn by doing. If you desire an accredited degree you will need to further your education at another institution.

Is housing provided?

-Housing and meals are not provided except when apprentices are on tour with Shining Light Players for out-of-town performances. For the rest of each term students will need to provide their own room and board.

What is the application process?

-Fill out the online form and pay the $25 application fee

-Have two references submit letters of recommendation

-Submit video audition (Audition details will be sent to you via email when you have applied)

-Submit your high school transcript, and any college transcripts

-Interview and review by the admission panel

Fall Term: September 22-December 12

Spring Term: January 12-April 3

Summer Term: May 4-July 25
