The Play

In ancient Persia, the beautiful Queen Esther hides a secret that will either cost her life, or save her people from destruction; will she be brave enough to take that risk? In 1950s Hollywood, Rosemary Lane, "queen of the silver screen" hides a secret of her own. How will her next film on the book of Esther change her life?  Starring award winning performers Alisha Burke and Clarence Pape, and with an original score by Stephen Joseph Burke (The Hiding Place) this epic full length musical will sweep audiences across the centuries and lift your spirits on the wings of morning.

The Rex Theatre

Enjoy an evening out at the beautifully renovated Rex Theatre. This 1910 building was converted to a movie theatre in 1936. After sitting empty for many years, it was purchased and renovated by Generation Church, who maintained the classic Art Deco style.
The seating is roomy and comfortable, and concessions are allowed inside the auditorium.
Free parking is available up and down Palafox street, making it an exciting and convenient location.
Come on down town and make an evening to remember!

Save yourself the walk! Park in free reserved parking at the First Baptist Church Parking lot (500 N Palafox St.) up to one hour before the performance and ride the complementary shuttle directly to the lobby door of the Rex Theatre!
